Try a different craft every afternoon during winter break. Children must bring an adult. Come anytime from 1:00 pm- 3:30 PM, December 22-January 2. No RSVP needed, walk-ins welcome. Donations are appreciated.

Free Try-It Tuesday activities are back from 1-3:30 PM all summer long. New this year, the Park District food cart will be at the museum on select dates with lunch food available to purchase (cash only please). Enjoy a picnic on the grounds and then come do a free fun historic craft activity. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Here’s the summer lineup:

Does your child love stories? The museum offers a story time hour every Friday morning through February 28. After we read a history story, kids will have an opportunity to touch and learn about related artifacts. The program is best for toddlers and is free of charge. No need to register but all children need to be accompanied by a caregiver.
